"An absolutely beautiful hotel in the most amazing grounds. Staff can’t do enough to help, service is outstanding. Facilities are outstanding - huge manicured gardens with tropical trees and plants, volleyball, tennis, 3 pools (importantly one is heated!), spa (extra charge, not cheap) petting zoo/farm, several boats waiting to take you across the river, taxis on demand (very cheap), travel agent in the lobby to book tours (at only a day’s notice). "The hotel is located very close to Luxor temple and a very good area indeed. The amenities and ambience is great and breakfast spread/ room were excellent. Only thing which was strange was that rooms didn’t have iron box to press clothes given the hotel amenties and they charged 5$ to have clothes pressed which was a bit farcical I felt. Overall good stay and would recommend it highly nonetheless."

It had the vibe we were looking for, the reception and the rooms all had a great atmosphere with a great selection of furniture and art; the place will make you feel like you have stepped into history. The gardens and the pool were lovely, secluded from the hustle of the town but in close proximity by a quick boat ride ( complimentary for guests at the hotel) The owner was very nice and involved with all clients, making sure everyone was having a great time. "This cruise exceeded my expectations. Spacious cabins, wonderful sundeck, excellent food, smooth cruising, small capacity relative to other boats and service oriented staff made for a very enjoyable time. At first I was going to book my own guides, but opted instead to book the cruise's siteseeing package. Glad I did, Hamad our guide was outstanding and there can be delays in the cruise do to timing in the river locks which could make coordination with outside guides difficult and stressful. ...

"It was situated in a quite area along with the locals and other hotels near by. The entrance to the hotel is deceptive as inside it is very big and has a large swimming pool. The team looking after the guests were absolutely friendly and helpful. The hotel food is cheap and delicious with a good selection. I would recommend this hotel for any family stay."

"Our stay at Amon Hotel has been really amazing and quite memorable. From the service we received, the friendliness and welcoming of the staff, and the beautiful rooms and courtyard making our stay one of the most memorable and lovely times since we’ve been in Egypt.
